I listened to part of the Q&A portion of today's 3rd quarter conference call. Management disclosed that one option for raising cash is to acquire a company with both a late stage product and cash. It was noted that in the right situation, genz could assist with the financing. This sounds like last year's merger of genz surgical units with biomatrix. Although the gzbx stock has stagnated (or worse) over the last year, I think a genz financed acquisition in todays market full of 'values' makes alot of sense.
