[Chat] Tom -- Good to hear your voice again. It's been a difficult day, waiting for word on many fronts, and finally the relief when I knew my fears were unfounded. There is so much room for subtle manipulation when news comes out no one understands. Now, in hind sight, it seems silly to imagine Cisco would offer only one solution. They're a switch and router shop, they need to meet the needs of all their customers. And since Alacatel's and Amati's modems will speak to each other, it's all the better. We should be celebrating, not wringing our hands. Did you say "Soros fears?" Are you saying the shorts are bringing up that again???? And with Bozo bringing up licensing issues we ran through the ground a year ago, this must be open season for dying debates. Sort of reminds me of the recent CAP article dragging out all the old arguments of VOD and early standards testing. Give it a rest! you want to say. Ah, well, let's just be glad a lot of good investors have another opportunity to buy at bargain prices. When you get back to this edge of the planet, let me know and we'll put a dent in a dom or something equally decadent. :)) Cheers! Pat
