This isn't real specific, but I was encouraged to have them reply with this -- (First part is my note to her).

Please !! It was not possible for me to attend the recent meeting -- can you tell me if there is ANYTHING going on we can be encouraged about??

Her reply -- Thank you for your email. PFG's annual meeting was held last week and was a
fairly low-key event. Catherine and Tom both made brief presentations about
the direction of the Company and I am currently in the process of posting
their speeches to our website. They should be available in the next day or
so, so please do visit our website to read the transcripts.

We have been quite busy in the last several months dealing with the
Diablillos project; in particular, evaluating a variety of options as to how
best put the project to use. We have had quite a bit of interest over the
last few years from other companies wanting to joint venture the project
once we got it back from Barrick, and many of those companies reiterated
their interest in the last few months. We have also had interest from a
couple of sources to buy the project from us, and of course, we have the
option of doing some exploration ourselves to try to leverage the silver
asset. All three possibilities are on still on the table, although we are
at present evaluating a serious offer regarding the project, which we hope
to have resolved shortly.

We are also continuing to search for new projects that fit well with our
strategic plan (please see the annual report and AGM speeches for details),
and our technical strengths. We have already identified several projects
that we think would be beneficial to the Company and are discussing
potential avenues for acquisition. This is not often a simple process of
just buying or optioning a project, however, so it is taking some time, and
there is no guarantee that we will end up with any of the projects we have
currently identified. However, we are working very hard to bring in new,
high quality exploration projects and are continuing to look for additional
opportunities.

I know it outwardly doesn't appear that there has been a lot going on, but
rest assured, we have been working hard laying the groundwork for renewed
exploration activity and hopefully growth of the Company.

Please do not hesitate to contact me again if you would like any further
information or an update in the future.

Kindest Regards,
Barbara Henderson
Investor Relations Manager
Pacific Rim Mining Corp.
