RE: "IABG is the only division that can record XBox sales. "

PAUL: And from where did you divine this "fact" ?

By process of elimination:
From the earnings statement:

Intel Communications Group

Unit shipments of Ethernet connectivity products were higher than the second quarter.
Unit shipments of network processing components, which include embedded Intel® Pentium® III processors, network processors and I/O processors, were higher than the second quarter.

Translation, for those of no understanding:
Intel Comm has two product lines - 1)Ethernet connectivity products and 2)network processing components

Since an XBox is none of the above, it is not a Comm Group product, despite the fact that some embedded Pentium III's are Comm Group products because they are used as netweork processing components.

XBox CPU's obviously don't belong in the Wireless Group.

But, perhaps you are right. The XBox CPU's might be classified as an OTHER product, responsible for BILLIONS IN LOSSES this quarter. Membership in that group is open to all, as long as it doesn't make Intel any money. I think you hit the nail on the head.
