2003 Personal Security Vehicle “PSV”.
Laforza management has identified a large and growing need for affordable
SUV with additional personal security for private individuals around the
world. Private individuals in many countries feel more threatened by the
violent nature of our present day societies. Almost every other protected
vehicle starts life as a standard vehicle, which is disassembled, protected
and then rebuilt. This process is very expensive and frequently results in a
vehicle with inadequate performance.
Laforza has designed protection into the vehicle, and it is built from the
floor up, as a “Security” version of the normal vehicle. Additionally, we
will install an up-rated engine, which results in performance that is equal,
or better than, the standard vehicle. The advantages that ensue are,
significantly reduced construction costs and vehicles that, with the windows
closed, are indistinguishable from the standard vehicle.
Product Differentiation through Exclusivity .
Laforza expects to manufacture a limited number of vehicles each year.
Laforza will build three models with two of the models offering different
engine options. The first model will be the “Laforza HP Model” which will
be its High Performance Model and will feature a 6 liter super charged
engine that will deliver over 425 HP. The second model will be the
“Laforza Personal Security Vehicle” (“PSV-L2”) which will feature Ballistic
Proof Windows and Kevlar protection around the interior compartment that
will protect against a small caliber hand gun, bricks, baseball bats, etc.
The vehicle will also have run flat tires as an added feature. This model
will feature a 6 liter 425 HP super charged engine. The third version will
be a “Laforza PSV-L4” armor version that will have Poly Carbonate Bullet
Proof Glass and additional armouring in the interior compartment to meet
industry standards for Level IV protection.
The PSV-L2 and PSV-L4 models will also have built in navigation systems and
hands free communication and transponder systems. (This will be an option on
the HP model).
