I would like to add that I hope Alwaleed keeps spouting off at the mouth. In due course the American public will clearly understand just where Saudi Arabia stands, and then there will be a backlash that will make the intifada look like St. Swithin's Eve.

Some facts about our "friends" in Saudi Arabia:

- It is illegal to kiss a stranger;
- A woman may not drive a car;
- It is considered an offense if a woman appears in public, unless accompanied by a male relative or guardian
- It is illegal to engage in any religious practice other than Islam;
- Male doctors may not examine women, and women doctors cannot examine men;
- Women may not become doctors;
- It is illegal to import any books featuring Christian symbols such as a cross;
- From Jiddah to Ryadh there are two highways: one for Muslims, another for "infidels";
- If a Muslim is accompanied by an "infidel", both are required to use the highway for infidels;
- The penalty for theft: hands are amputated with a knife or an ax;
- Public beheading is standard for those who disagree with government policy;
- The per capita income of Saudi citizens has decreased by nearly 70% since 1990;
- 50% of Saudi GDP is derived from the sale of oil;
- It is legal and acceptable for a men to physically attack their wives, to beat them for "disobedience";
- The Saudi government is not democratically elected, and condones the theft of public funds by members of the Royal family.
