<In what ways are we responsible for the Taliban's control of Afghanistan, >

It is similar to our culpability in Iran. Different decade, but we set them up and then they fall.

Is there anyone here who REALLY thinks that if a new government of any kind is set up in Afghanistan that it WON'T have to have our approval, i.e. essentially being our "puppet" or that of the U.N., at the very least, for 2 decades to come? C'mon really (you guys know who you are!)? That's probably the only way now.

You've seen what's coming in microcosm with Palestine, except with more poverty and weapons, plus heroine. The soldiers going there will get strung out on 'H' just like they did in Nam. Can you imagine 'keeping the peace' in that place? Not me.
