"that's part of the cost of doing business"

Now you finally got it. If it is the cost of doing business,
why it should be excluded from reporting, according to
current "accounting practices"? And when you account
for this expense, Intel has a loss of $600M in 3Q.
And losses in many other prior quarters.

"They all do it, but nobody calls it a loss."
Yep, it does not matter how they call it, the
fact remains that Intel is losing money while trying
to maintain the fraudulent scheme of inflating
their profit figures. Sorry to rain on your
parade. Until there are so many ignorant investors
who believe in righteousness of GAAP rules, the scam
will sustain, at their (and your) expense of course.

Bye,

- Ali
