Hey Doofus... you made a completely FALSE claim that Israel was still occupying Lebanon... and I was alluding to the fact that Syria held THE REAL POWER in Lebanon, and not the Lebanese. It's the SYRIANS who, being in control, wanted Israel out.
Lebanon is a puppet of Syria... Some puppet leaders are politically attempting to distance themselves from Damascus, but what the hell are they supposed to do? Syria leaves and they sick their hisbulla proxies upon the Lebanese opposition.
They complain ALL THE TIME, but they don't have the power to do anything about it at the moment. And that's mainly because people like you spend an inordinate amount of time IGNORING what the Syrians and others are perpetrating, and focusing solely upon Israel.
The point, AGAIN, was that the world focused upon Israel's LEGITIMATE attacks against PLO forces which had been attacking them. Forces that were forced upon the Lebanese and protected by Syria, after they were kicked out of Jordan for trying to overthrow King Hussein.
The Lebanese people would LOVE for ALL occupying forces to leave their country. Israel left, but Syria remains there.
Now why don't you dedicated the same measure of hot air in denouncing them? After all, the Lebanese DIDN'T attempt to invade Syria and they didn't ask for the Syrians to occupy their country.
