hmm... I'd only go for no Saudi oil. Reasons for not buying the rest at this time? In the long run, I think we are going to have closer ties with Iran from this. Closer in a sense than we had before when we set up the Shah because it will be more mutual between the peoples. They are becoming more and more open, and this could push them further. But then they really don't like the Taliban, so they have a stake in this. <g> And, yes, I remember sitting in line for gas because of the Iranian situation. My father had spent months over there working off and on and lost friends, and his company a great deal of money. May Lady Liberty forgive me if the notion of ties with Iran again is UN-American.
