Athlon TBird 1.2 faster than 2GHz/SDRAM combo in 12/15 benchmarks (not tested in the other 3!):

The point of this article is to compare the i845 to the i850, so there are no AMD scores in some cases

Stream benchmarks (5): VIA KT266A chipset with Tbird 1.2 GHz beats i845 chipset with 2GHz P4 in all 5
margin is 25% to 70%
Sandra ALU: TBird 1.2 with KT266A chipset beats P4 2GHz with i845 by 115%
Sandra FPU: TBird 1.2 with KT266A chipset beats P4 2GHz with i845 by 78%
Expendable Timedemo: TBird 1.2/KT266A beats P4 2 GHz/i845 by 34%
Aquamark - not tested on AMD boards, but i845 is equal to i850 because of graphics card limitations
Quake 3 Arena 800x600x32: TBird 1.2/KT266A beats P4 2 GHz/i845 by 6%
Quake 3 Arena 640x480x16: Same, margin increases to 8%
Quake 3 Area (lower resolutions): Same, margin is 5-7%
Caligari Truespace: Dual 1.2 Palomino beats 2 GHz P4/i845 by 15-55%, no TBird or single Palomino tests
ULead MediaStudioPRO 6.0: TBird 1.2/KT266A beats P4 2 GHz/i845 by 3%
