Tax Loss Selling.

I hope this doesn't stretch the parameters of the thread too much.

I'm wondering if we will see tax-loss selling this year.

I'd be surprised if there are many investors who have large gains they want to offset.

Are there other reasons for tax-loss selling?

Can a loss this year be applied to previous years' gains for example?

What do you think?
