On a related speaker topic, does anyone have a suggestion for volume control settings? There is the mechanical control on the speaker itself, there is the windows operating system control button often found in the system tray, and then there is the media player setting.

Currently I have them all set near the center of the range, and adjust whichever is most convenient at the time. But I loose my orientation easily this way, and don't have a clue if increasing one or the other affects sound quality differently.

I would be interested in the logic behind setting the combination of the three of them to get plenty of volume with good sound quality.
