AMD is "hurting" right now ... Intel has empirically found their pain level. Just think, Intel could continue to run at these ASP's and positive profits for some time. Even if this is true (that Intel will continue to make positive profits), those profits will be really small. If Intel does this for any length of time those profits will not justify Intel's valuation. Your an Intel long right? Are you happy at the prospect of Intel making tiny profits for a year or more just so that they can hurt AMD? Tim
