As a consumer when you buy a new PC preloaded with Windows XP you never pay MSFT directly for anything and you can run that PC forever without ever paying MSFT a dime. OK, my apologies. I misunderstood what MS is planning. But substitute "business customer" for "consumer" in my message and the rationale still applies.
