Kick out the Taliban and the Northern Alliance. The Taliban has made themselves are enemy by sheltering Al-Qaida. The Northern Alliance is not a collection of saints and humanitarians but what have they done to deserve our wrath? If you try to kick them out too it will not seem to be a matter of a counter attack but rather initiating the violence. Also if we are to be their enemies it will make kicking out the Taliban that much harder. I think they will have to play a role in the new government. Exactly how big a roll is not something that we will have total control over unless we plan to make Afghanistan a US colony which is not an option I recommend. Tim
