From what I understand, IBM has had a competing product for some time. I am not familiar enough with the bits and bytes, but they're comparable. Funny story: we used EMC disk, then IBM came in and sold (leased, actually) us some "Shark" disk at a significant discount, then, about 8 months later, EMC came back and beat IBM's price. So we're running EMC again. Our current price compared with the original EMC disk we were running is significant. Chuck
