Lisa Beamer, the widow of Freedom Fighter Todd M. Beamer will board the same United Airlines Flight from which her husband made the fateful “let’s roll” call on September 11, 2001. Mrs. Beamer will be traveling from Newark to San Francisco on flight 81(renamed) at 8:15am on October 19th. Mrs. Beamer is flying commercially because she wants to support our President and encourage Americans not to be held captive by terrorism and to support our nation’s commercial airlines. Her desire has always been to help America rebound emotionally, physically and financially. Mrs. Beamer is the founder of the The Todd M. Beamer Foundation, a non-profit organization designed to help the families of flight 93, combat future terrorism, and expand the message of hope and peace to our youth. While in San Francisco, Mrs. Beamer plans to meet with some of her husband’s key business associates in order to give them the opportunity to participate in this crucial campaign.
