Kodiak, I like your 'citizen deputy' idea. . . but I would be strict about who was allowed. . . character references, background checks, scenario shooting tests, psych tests, periodic drug screening, anger management courses, etc. Of course if we were that strict about who may carry guns, most security guards in the U.S. would probably have to give back their guns. . . . perhaps a good portion of our law enforcement as well. . . .>g<

So I guess I am for more guns toted by fewer people.
