They've been trumpeting lots of other stuff, but I hadn't noticed a great concern for women. I know the left has been concerned over that. Objection, your honor. X, X, X... my faithful alter consciousness, or conscience, whatever. While I was at one time a dedicated yellow canine type democrat, and lover of humanity and all things fair, I have of late developed an appreciation for various "conservative" concerns. As such I am aware that I have identified myself with the unenlightened, the haters, shallow-minded, selfish, and not to mention war-mongers. I'm just getting old, I know. The Germans say if you are young and not socialist you have no heart. There is a follow up to that sentence, but it is not really useful here. That is about it on the subject. I read the Kissers and occasionally I have this urge to let an objection be noted for the record, lest all motions seem to pass by unanimous consent. Besides I have 3 daughters (and miraculously have managed to bamboozle my poor naive wife into sticking around), so I would hate to have them discover that I am against their interests without lodging so much as a whimper in protest. (Anyway, they won't tolerate anything resembling rebellion from my quarter). Looks like a beautiful day here. I think I'll go out and kick the dog in case she is thinking of having a good time.
