Amein,

Thank you for your honest response....

If you don't mind. let me ask this question, where does it say in the Qu'ran that a Muslim must abide by a foreigners laws? I'm sure if you are saying it, it is in there. I just would like to see it in context. Because then you are pointing a major inconsistency in the Qu'ran. Let me show you an example why....

002.191
PICKTHAL: And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers.

002.193
PICKTHAL: And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrong-doers.

If you read these two verses, it talks about slaying the idolaters (non-Muslims) wherever you find them (ie: America, Britian, etc..). And it is clear that this is the meaning because if you go to to verse 193 it talks about fighting them until persecution of the Muslim is no more, and all the world believes in Allah (or becomes Muslim).

Let me go one step further using the Qu'ran:

at-Taubah 9:5.8
So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Look carefully, "then slay the idolaters wherever you find them". It is not "slay the idolater only in Muslim countries". Additionally it does say if they, "repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them". So if a non-Muslim repents, and becomes an Islamic follower and prays, and pays the poor-rate, they will be left alone. But this is a second reinforcement in the Qu'ran that it says to slay the non-Muslim, anywhere!

So I hope you can see that this contradicts what you are saying when you say a Muslim should follow American law when here on an American visa. These verses say to me, if you are in America, and America has non-Muslim's, slay them until everyone is a Muslim (ie: terrorism). Or at least maybe you can see how one might interpret it that way. Believe me, I do not defend the terrorists or think they are right. The are wrong and should be punished fully for what they did. But I do believe they were only following their religion, and doing what they think God says in the Qu'ran.

Let me know what you think.....

God Bless,
IGIT
