Me: "Benchmarked Hammers on what Hammer chips? It hasn't been reported as having even achieved tapeout."
Fyo: "It was a joke. Read what he wrote..."
Dale: "So far, every benchmark they have run on it has executed faster than on any other platform.
Fyo: "every benchmark = 0"
OK, jokes on me, dunce cap, corner stool, etc. However, sometime, somewhere, is it possible someone's going to go after one or more highly biased company backers that are putting misleading information on Internet threads? Someone alluded to this on the RB AMD thread:
ragingbull.lycos.com
There are no more highly biased threads than the AMD ones, here and on RB. I don't think anyone could dispute that. The Dell threads pre Dell crash, maybe. Just a thought (the RB post). Sure, nobody on these threads purports to be a professional stock adviser, so everyone is probably essentially immune from any class action activity. Still, I wouldn't take any chances in this day of the jackal, I mean lawyer.
