This weeks action saw tremendous moves and kept the record of now 49 straight days of top $ naz gainers in-tack, smashing my old record of 38 consecutive day streak last year. Stopped out the CLECs XOXO and MCLD, ZRAN ran and QLTI saw megga returns. GNSS keeps going like an everready bunny, and NVDA keeps marching on in stride. Sympathy shorts to EMC, were BRCD and QLGC, as well as TXN all covered and reversed. I was only angry at my new trading assistant for 30 seconds, as a typo on the key board had me 10 times more DECT then I planned. With mistakes like that I think I will keep her for a awhile. SFTY nets abound, next week we go for broke. Case you haven't noticed, the ability of me to pick 49 straight days of top dollar picks on naz is due not to talent, crystal balls, voodoo magic or luck. But rather having the tools to exploit a trend and some inefficiencies in the market place. Last year this time, the trend that made us mega bucks was shorting into earnings. A company need only meet earnings or miss by a penny, and it had its legs cut off. Worst case, the companies beat, and we covered flat, or held for a week in the money. We are still in a bear mkt so why do I go long, and make huge profits doing so. And what is the trend now? You really wanna know?
