here is a 10 years comparison chart of the crb commodity index vs london gold...the commodity index has not only come back to it 1999 lows but has also come back to "gold"....we should be close to a bottom for the commodity index (a re-test of the 1999 lows) ...commodities pull-back accounts for gold being unable to move up recently but gold still remains in a bullish pattern.... IMHO.......:)
