That will take a fab out? Ignoring the fact that in 40 years this has not happened on the scale that you and others are hypothesising? For what it is worth, a fab is not a real appealing target for terrorists...


More likely, the thing that will take a fab line down, would be "Process Related", rather than "Disaster Related". Defects and/or Yields being the biggest causes.

Although there WAS that time in Santa Clara, when the construction guys severed the PG&E Cables into the Fab....
