Whoa, I saw you mention Directed Energy Weapons (DEW) and did a little searching. Just plain awesome, and sometimes, scary stuff.
Surely the UN and Nato if they haven't already, are rethinking the protocol banning the use of some of these things against human beings, as being inhumane....crashing hijacked planes into office buildings is inhumane as well IMO.
