I agree, it would appear that had the reporting been under the old system, we would have had a 2 cent loos instead of a 6 cent profit since the writedowns takes approx. 8 cents per quarter. I think Corel will definitely have to do better than this before we can be confident the market will start reacting positively to it.
As always, I have a question to pose to everyone on the thread.
Last night, at about 12:45am on PBS, "Charlie Rose" was interviewing Larry Ellison of Oracle and one of the things I found very interesting was that he demonstrated that with the oracle NC, you could run Microsoft Office, you needed some type of NT server at the back end. Anyone else hear about this, and if so, how are they going about doing this. This to me doesn't bode well for Java Office IMO.
