<<Assuming that Michael Dell conforms to the "desperate" kind of personality disorder you're advocating (while McSquealy is *still* the all-singing-'n-dancing boy), you might be right.>>

how does dell fit into this equation. he is promoting, with kids, that it is "cool" to buy from dell. this is a far cry from the "innovation" that msft is promoting.

sunw has not done much advertising lately but you will see them go after ibm for the enterprise market not msft. melissa eisenstat has one thing right. msft is dependent, right now, on the pc and its fortunes will go or down depending on it does. by the way, i thought win2000 was "the bet the ranch product". sorry, but it did not happen and doubt is will. free is hard to overcome.

lastly, the doj situation is not final. thats when you guys will finally blow a fuse. i recommend stocking up on xanax, valium, weed and high octane liquor when the ruling comes down. come to think of it, i might invest in some of the companies that sell those products because of the breadth of msft investors.

have a great day and God Bless America, rocky.
