"Itanium has not penetrated this market either!" Has it penetrated any markets at all? That well known AMD biased organization, Gartner Group, had this to say "Despite Much Hype, Itanium-Based Workstations Had Little Impact on the Market ". Now that was Q2, maybe Itanium has managed to increase from "negligible" to "minscule" by now. At that rate, they might be up to "measurable" by the time the Hammer hits... www4.gartner.com
