Tom, According to the left wing "intellectuals" America is a violent, racist, oppressive, imperialistic juggernaut riding roughshod over the worlds materialistically poor yet spiritually enlightened masses. If you view our country in any other way you are considered by these individuals to be at best uninformed but more likely a militant nationalist or Republican. As has been pointed out time and again their hypocrisy is disgusting, some are born here, others are among the millions of immigrants that came here seeking a better life. Regardless of which they have one thing in common, they couldn't get away with their bullshit in any other country. God bless America! NM
