They bid in the market alright; but Arafat is just like the guy who keeps insisting that his $100,000 house is really worth $200,000 because he could have gotten $200,000 at the peak of the market (if he had negotiated in 1979 when he was invited to). Realtors tear out their hair trying to get such clients to see the reality of the market.
