The back pages would be a step up. Israel goads the Palestinians to rebel so they can kill them and make themselves look good in the international media. They offer peanuts and claim Arafat does not want to deal.

Israel wants to negotiate with the Palestinian people while their foot is on their throats. If Israel was interested in making amends with the Palestinians, they would have never built settlements on occupied lands, unless of course, the American taxpayer will pay for them twice, the second time at escalated values, if they turn ever turn them over.
