Steve; You read more into what I say than I put there, I made no
prediction of them both dieing, I used it in a way to
make another point. Still the new push by CNET with "SNAP"
is I'm sure overlooked, or played down by AOL bulls.
AOL can't just keep on burning money with a dribble coming in
from adds , and expect to fool the fund managers on and on,
Snap, is going to take enough of AOLs pasture, that AOL going
to find very hard times. On top of it the stocks over here have
been priced as if this was a "High profit margin" bussiness,
it's not. I know I deal with small ISPs regularly, the profit
margin is thin..very very thin.., ISP sevice could well become
a "perk" to get your LD bussiness. I can now sign you up to
"surf"..for $6.95 a month. ( no mail box ) but unlimited dialin
at 36.3 no less. You can go out and get the rest "free"..
were's the profit going to come from.
About insider sales, part of what you say is true..BUT when
it's an exodus..23 of them..that's not normal at all, it had
many "more" insiders fileing to sell at one time than any I have
ever seen..the numbers may not seem a lot to you..BUT do you
know just how they were entitled to sell, that could have been
all they had at the time.
They did sell $12 before she peaked..so their sence of timing was
not to hot, and all we can do now is wait and see.
But AOL is going at least to the teens by this time next year,
Jim
