Dear Wayne,

First of all AK-47 with his Reck-lees rifle would fire a spotting round which hopefully hit on or near the target. His second shot should have rattled their teeth.

With the boys in blue you have seas and swells and hope Uncle Sugar gave them some money for practice rounds and the folks in Viegues P.R. let them shoot. Then there was always a maintenance problem or two plus your map may have had a declination diagram problem.

In a pinch I think I would go with AK-47 in his youth.
