<< Anyone got ANY ideas on why my system isn't good enough >>

If your PC is more than two years old at this time I have a simple answer for you.

You won't be able to run ANY of the software that will be on the market in 2 - 3 years.

Is that simple enough an answer, or should I explain it more clearly? Your PC won't run any of the new software at that time (no matter what it is).

Will you buy a new PC then?

Why the heck to you think there are a hundred million PC's sold every year? Because they don't run today's software and they obviously won't run tomorrow's software. A 5 year old PC is 99% junk. That's why people buy new ones. Any more explanation necessary?
