Your uninformed about the Israel. While Clinton was negotiating with both sides, Israel was expanding settlements in occupied territories, just as it continues to do so today. A number of new settlements (15 I think) were announced in the last two months. Or as Sharon said earlier this year, "we will not expand settlements, only as is necessary."

"President Bush Sr. created a coalition that got an invader out of Kuwait" Right, and we're on the brink of going to war with that invadeer again. Are you suggesting that for Afghanistan we follow Bush Sr.'s strategy with Iraq. Pound em to the ground and leave the Taliban in power to grow again, methinks not. Look it, even Powell admits that Afghanistan should have had more U.S. attention given to it after the Soviet pullout.
