Graham - Must be a coincidence, because trading on inside information simply doesn't happen. Everyone on Bay and Howe Street is lily white. Honest. They just enjoy taking advantage of naive long term buy and hold investors. And why shouldn't they, it's a longstanding Canadian tradition to screw over the general populace that isn't inside the loop, right up there with the federal taxation system. I've worked for three different brokerage firms in my day, as well as being an independent financial planner, so I know of which I speak. Only young children and fixed income oldtimers like Peter believe the financial services industry treats them fairly, and as long as they keep believing it, they'll keep getting their pockets picked. I feel sorry for them, but hey, they're not my problem.
