You're right Teresa. Countries like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan that haven't experienced widespread economic reforms are easy targets for extremists. We are receiving support from the leadership which do not really represent their people ... this is a very dangerous situation. All the more reason for these countries to become functioning democracies ... that way the people would have a say in how their countries are run ... but that would take a change in the leadership of those countries and a change in the mindset of the people. Their religious leaders are definitely not the right people for this job but we have to stop supporting these corrupt and inadequate regimes.
