>>Note - saying you don't like unions is not saying you don't like union employees. And you know that.

The always acid-tongued Mark "Maxi" Shields sets up that same straw man all the time in his CNN diatribes.

Novak - who actually runs the show - should fire Shields, that ideologue Hunt and that nitwit Carlson and get at least one smart Liberal on there. There must be some somewhere. Just for ratiungs sake. But maybe they're there just to make everyone else look good.

btw, on Imus Time-CNN's Carlson, whose daughter works for the Dem party, told Imus during the Gore election stealing drama that the overseas military absentee votes should not count in FL because all they were were tax cheats.

Imus took exception with that and noted that not only were they not tax cheats - after all by Carlson's definition Clinton was the true tax cheat - but that the soldiers were also underpaid. Carlson disagreed, saying they were paid very well. Imus told her she was wrong and that many had to use food stamps to feed their families.

Remember that exchange next time General Carlson offers up military advice.

Decisive "Tax Dodgers"?

Time columnist Margaret Carlson: "Here we will have possibly a bunch of tax dodgers deciding the election."
Don Imus: "I don’t think we want to refer, we want to refer to people serving in the military as tax dodgers, do you?"
Carlson: "No, but they’ve chosen a state of convenience like going to the Cayman Islands...I mean this is just taking this whole tax issue a little too far."
– November 8 exchange on MSNBC’s Imus in the Morning simulcast on absentee ballots from military personnel in Florida. Florida does not have a state income tax.
