A bit of a dodge since you put qualifications on it. I beleive we would have had to invade Baghdad to get him out or kill him. The Arab nations involved in the coalition did not want us to do that. Even as a repub I will say that we probably should have done it, but I am not one of the "revisionists" that looks at something in late 2001 as part of his reasoning to support what we did 10 years ago.

What specifically do you mean by "keeping up the pressure"? I feel that invading Baghdad and finding and capturing or killing Saddam would have been difficult and would have cost many American and Iraqi lives. How many were you willing to sacrifice?

Do you think Clinton "kept up the pressure" by allowing Saddam to halt the weapons inspections?
