Well - all of AMD's CPUs were supposed to do it.

All the "RISC" chips were supposed to do it.

All the 68000 and variants were supposed to.

Then there were the Rises, and Exponentials, and Cyrix, and TransMeta, and VIA, and the ULSI and .......

Oh well - where are they now?
