Some time back I promised myself I would not pick stocks and limit my bets to indexes or mutual funds. Well I've broke that promise "some" and have bought a few stocks, however in each case I sold covered calls to reduce risk and I have avoided stocks that don't have options. I too think small caps have a better chance of growth going forward but have played them via some ASVIX and WAMCX . They don't look very exciting but At least those two funds didn't set lower lows in September. Jim
