And the only way IMO, is to
have a "disintested", even-handed police force.. And that takes a:

Giant "Leap of faith and Trust" for our friends to the right of us.. A Global police force.. ie like the United Nations.

You think the UN is free of political interest and would be unbiased in terms of enforcing laws?

Where EACH and EVERY country contributes people and resources, equal proportions to size .. Pay "taxes" to pay for it... A country will not lose it's individuality, but it would be analogous to "our states rights" (which the Right believed in until last Fall, g.). BTW, our individual states do not go after each other much..last time about 140-150 years ago..

1 - Our state rights have been massively eroded as the federal government has grabbed more and more power to itself.

2 - If you want to have a word government who would govern? The UN security council? Then it will be dominated by the 5 veto powers. The general assembly? Then after they vote to wipe out Israel they may start thinking about some things that might concern Americans, assuming they are not to busy grabbing out money. A democratically elected government? Well at least it would not be rule by UN bureaucrats but what protections do individuals and the member states have? Something like the US constitution? Also what if China hands in a billion votes for its version of who should be in charge? Or do you think they are going to have open elections with international monitors?

3 - The majority of people in the world would probably be against it, with larger majorities in the countries that have money and or power. Who is going to force this on the world?

There would require tremendous faith and trust in the entity and a world court system.

Something that would most likely be in short supply and probably deservedly so.
