Realistically, Bilow is correct. The United States had dozens of newly-constructed aircraft carriers in commission by 1945. Japan was able to commission only an additional one or two. They resorted to converting battleships which were either completely ineffective (Ise, Hyuga) or sunk by submarines (Shinano) before they ever carried a plane.
