"German software provider Siebel" ? Siebel and Aspective win contract with finance group By Total Telecom staff totaltele.com 22 October 2001 Irish personal finance group Irish Life & Permanent has awarded contracts to Siebel and Aspective to provide an e-business solution for its sales force. German software provider Siebel said Irish Life has standardized on Siebel eInsurance, an application tailored for the insurance industry. The application is being deployed throughout the life and pensions sales force, contact center and bank branches. It will integrate policy, mortgage and bank account data from the company's back office systems, providing a single view of the customer, Siebel said. This will support cross-selling and up-selling to the customer base. Aspective, an ASP and e-business solutions provider, has been chosen to implement Siebel's applications. "As the market for life assurance and pensions becomes increasingly competitive, Irish Life must introduce innovative new means of acquiring and retaining loyal customers," said an Irish Life spokesman.
