Uncle Frank,

I do think we are missing some interesting candidates and royalty games. I do not have the bandwidth right now to do the proper DD right now but these are the top of my list for exploring.

Arm Holdings - These guys are as close as you can get to being a Gorilla without actually growing the long arms. The embedded processor core will be a huge market for many years. Arm has it wrapped up with a value chain to die for. No tornado yet but I think it will come. A real candidate for a Next Generation Leader.

Intersil - looking like a very strong King-candidate in the WiFi market. Hey, from my quick look, I think a tornado is forming in this market.

PixelWorks and Genesis Micro - fighting it out in a royalty game in the flat panel market. I think the flat panel display market IS in a tornado right now (remember, very little DD backs that comment up!). How far behind the PC tornado will the flat panel TV tornado be? The flat panel car dashboard? The flat panel digital picture frame?

These last two won't be Qualcomm size plays (I think ARM may be that scale) but at least there is a game to watch.
