Slider, since, like you, I own gold I know that it has been a very BAD investment not only in the longer term but especially in the shorter term.

I own gold for the same reason that I own fire insurance: just in case everything burns down.

An insulting and patronizing manner cannot cover up the fact that most of the time you simply do not know what you are talking about. Sometimes, by accident, you are correct. When you are, you make a huge production out of it. When you are incorrect, you try to cover up with the most foul-mouthed abuse that whatever venue you happen to inhabit is prepared to put up with.

You have been repeatedly suspended from SI, and you have carried your battles to other places until it has become apparent that no one is interested in them.

Maybe you could turn yourself back around and march yourself back behind the stockade on SI II where you will be safe from rational responses.

In the mean time, in would be nice if this thread could return to a discussion of, as it says, "strictly drilling."
