DiB,

Let me re-word my question: how can the owner of ITM call get rid of it for the close price?

The answer, I believe, is you can't. The market is closed so there is no place for you to sell the call. It is conceivable that your broker might be willing and able to buy it from you prior to expiration and execute the option to obtain stock, but I would not consider that to be something you can expect to happen.
