"That is the way it is today dumbo, any comment? "

Your post was not directed to me, but I will comment any way. You constantly overestimate the impact politicians can have on the economy and the course of history. You are also very one sided in views (granted others who are your opposite likewise share this trait). It seems to me that your argument is tantamount to the rooster always crows when the sun comes up, ergo the rooster is responsible for the sun coming up. I do not believe that Clinton or the Republican Congress bear much responsibility for the great economy during his tenure nor do I believe that George Bush and the democratic/Republican congress are the source of our economic problems. These problems have been building and were caused by years of excessive malinvestment fueled by programs that both parties have supported and now the piper must be paid. That is the truth. I would also suggest to you that there is not a lot of difference between the major parties. They agree on 90% and while they may disagree on 10%, their rhetoric suggests the other way around.

If you really believe that Clinton caused the great economy and if your opponents really believe that Reagan and the Republican Congress were responsible for the great economy, you are all deluding yourselves IMHO.
