WC, Remember that during the gulf war, sadaam didnt use his chemical weapons, even on Israel because of the US warning thru third parties that we would use nukes to counter chemical warfare. If we were willling to use them then, why not now? It is a reality that these weapons ARE being considered now if there is catastrophic loss of life in the US. You can go to the bank on that as well as the fact that bin laden has been notified. Can you deter bin laden, probably not but many of his state supporter probably yes. And to have deterrence really work, Americans need to be able to support our second use of nukes. mike PS Anybody at or near ground supporter understands that. The rest of america is still in denial.
